Paul graduated from the Military Physician Assistant Course in August of 1990 with a Bachelor of Science as a Physician Associate awarded from the University of Oklahoma. He served as a Physician Assistant in the U.S. Army from 1990 to 1996 in various capacities, and received subspecialty training in Aviation medicine. In May of 1996 he left the Army after 24 years and went to Quitman, Texas where he worked in Family Practice for 2 years before coming to Toledo, OH and starting at Toledo Hospital. Currently, he works at the Toledo Hospital in Women’s Health and in Urgent Care. He also serves as the President of the Governing Committee and the Director of Advanced Practice Providers for That Neighborhood Free Health Clinic, as well as a Family Practice and Women’s Health Provider at the Clinic.
He was awarded the Physician Assistant of the Year Award in 2009 from the Toledo Hospital and the Volunteer of the Quarter for Toledo Hospital in April 2015. He is also a member of the American College of Physicians, PAs for Tomorrow, Christian Medical and Dental Association, and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
